The Developmental Disabilities Resource Board is a visionary group of non-profit organizations throughout Franklin County serving individuals with developmental disabilities. Each individual organization operates unique programs serving individuals ranging from home services for infants/toddlers to school-age child support/intervention to employment and residential services. The leaders of each agency came together to form the DDRB based on the opportunity to create synergy between local agencies and the idea of filling service gaps for developmentally disabled persons, their families, caretakers and service professionals. The collective energy of the DDRB members will promote operational effectiveness and efficiency, working together to utilize services and available funding, ultimately enhancing and increasing service provisions for all involved. Collaborative resources will increase life skills and create additional opportunities for persons with disabilities.
WHO WE ARE...
Developmental Disability Resource Board of Franklin County is committed to enhancing the quality of life for individuals with developmental disabilities through support and opportunities. DDRB will serve as a development/finance institution for participating agencies in Franklin County, working to fill the overall need for capital/operational funds through grants and other fundraising strategies. It will seek funds to supplement the core funding of state and local government as well as business contracts.
